These wood sculpture began in a small attic studio in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Jure Novak started creating these wood wall art when he was 31, he is trained as an architect, but increasingly drawn to the simplicity of form and silence. Working with plain plywood panels, he found freedom not in the wood’s grain—but in its absence.
“No pattern means no excuses,” he says. “Just shape, balance, and patience.”
He shapes every curve using basic tools—a contour knife, sanding blocks, and time. Each layer is built up, adjusted, smoothed, repainted. Not to impress. Just to feel right.
The result is calm but intentional. A rhythm of rising lines, where light and shadow do most of the talking.
There’s no factory behind this piece. No branding tricks. Just one person, in one room, doing one thing with care.

Once your order is placed, our artists begin production immediately. If no custom modifications are needed, your piece will typically be completed within 10–15 days. The entire process includes carving, sanding, painting, and a final quality inspection.

Before any order is shipped—custom or standard—we will send you detailed photographs of the finished artwork. Your approval is required before we proceed with packaging and shipment. This ensures that every piece leaves our studio only when you’re fully satisfied.
